What is GDP data??

Posted by NIFM
GDP data is basically used as an indicator which shows about the health of the country. The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis released the data. This is q/q data, it's reported in an annualized format (quarterly change x4). The 'Previous' listed is the 'Actual' from the Preliminary release and therefore the 'History' data will appear unconnected. 3 types of GDP versions released a month apart - Advance, Preliminary, and Final. The Advance release is the earliest and thus tends to have the most impact.   Impact: If Actual is better than Forecast; it is Good for currency; Then the currency will impact according to the data in our economy.
